FAQs

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS?

A: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 11:00 am

3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 11:00 am

3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Our Lobby is closed daily from 11:00 to 3:00 so our team can focus all of our efforts on your pets. We are also closed for drop-off and pick-up on all major holidays - Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day.


Q: WHAT IS YOUR MEDICATION POLICY?

A: We will gladly give your pet their prescription medication while they are in our care. We charge a minimal fee of $1.00 per administration.  There are no extra fees for multiple medications given at the same time.  Sorry, we cannot do any IV's or injections.


Q: WHAT ARE YOUR VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS?

A: Proof of vaccinations is mandatory!  We must be able to confirm vaccination records with your vet within 15 minutes of your arrival or your pet will not be accepted.  For the health and safety of all our clients, there are no exceptions to this policy.  Feel free to have your vet email vaccine records to us before your arrival at info@ivypetresort.com

Dogs: Must have rabies, DAPP or DHLPP & Bordetella. Canine influenza is not required but is highly recommended.
Cats: Must have rabies & FVRCPP.  Feline leukemia is not required, but highly advised.


Q: DO YOU OFFER GROOMING?

A: Our team can provide basic grooming services in-house.  We offer bathing services and can also do brush outs and nail trims. Please call in advance to schedule these services.


Q: WHAT PETS ARE NOT ACCEPTED?

A: Puppies who are not fully vaccinated, aggressive pets, epileptic or diabetic pets and post-operative patients. We require that all new pets come in for Temperament Testing before their first stay or daycare visit.


Q: WHAT DO YOU DO FOR MY PET IN CASE OF A MEDICAL EMERGENCY?

A: In the rare case that your pet should require veterinarian attention, rest assured that Ivy Pet Resort will contact you, then transport your pet to your vet's office.  If the vet you normally use is not reachable, there are many 24 hour emergency vet clinics in the immediate area to choose from.


Ivy Pet Resort reserves the right to refuse any pet for any reason.
